Corporate Governance, Transparency and Compliance Policy

Oil Terminal Karimun is committed to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and compliance in all aspects of its operations. As one of  the largest Indonesia’s independent terminals, strategically positioned in the crossroads of Strait of Malacca, we recognize the vital role we play in the country’s energy logistics chain and the broader global market. Our business philosophy rests on the pillars of integrity, openness, accountability, and sustainability, ensuring that every activity we undertake is aligned with both Indonesian laws and international best practices.

Our structure comprises a Commissioner, Board of Directors, and dedicated Department Heads across key functions including HSSE, Operations, Maintenance and Repair, Customer Service, Commercial, Legal, Finance, HR and Information Technology.— This structure ensures clear oversight, open reporting, and risk management, aligning our decisions with maritime, environmental, and financial regulations while upholding ethical conduct and sustainable practices.

We apply robust procedures in customer onboarding, product acceptance, and vessel handling, including sanctions screening, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. Where regulatory or reputational risks arise, Oil Terminal Karimun reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services.

Transparency and accountability guide our engagement with clients and authorities. All processes are documented, and we cooperate fully with regulatory bodies in audits, inspections, and inquiries. Employees and contractors are bound by a formal code of conduct, supported by regular training and secure channels for reporting concerns.

Sustainability is integrated into our compliance framework through spill prevention, emissions control, and efficient resource management. Policies are reviewed regularly to reflect evolving requirements, ensuring that Oil Terminal Karimun maintains responsible, lawful, and trusted operations.
